Kung gusto, may paraan. Kung ayaw, maraming dahilan
“if you want something badly enough, you’d be able to think of ways to have it. But if you don’t want it, you’d have lots of reasons to not have it.”
Not as meaningful as when it was in Filipino, but you get the point. We always give excuses just so we could get out of something we don’t like, but when we like it, we are able to find ways to attain it.
*Short background*
We have an elective that’s being offered for the next term which is FILTURS. FIL being Filipino and TURS being, Tours as in tour around a place. If we choose this elective, we will be give a 5 day vacation somewhere around the Philippines as part of our curriculum.
Back to the main story
Basically, this is how our schedule looks like right now

We can, of course, choose to drop some of these subjects and take it at a later time.
but the thing is, people don’t want to take FILTURS because it’s early in the morning.. And these people were the ones who wanted this elective to be given. Last term, you will hear them say “Oh, I hope there’s FILTURS next term. Wouldn’t it be fun if we had that?” Well, now, here it is, why don’t you want to take the class? cause it’s too early? BULLSHIT.. if you really wanted it, you would get your lazy ass up at 5am or even earlier to get to school and go to class..
and don’t tell me your reason is that you won’t have enough time to rest because you don’t have sunday and wednesday classes. You’d have the whole day to fuckin’ rest…
just admit it, you took this course because you couldn’t think of any other course to go to. You say you’re proud of being in this course yet it is you who wonders “What if I took another course?” or “What if I shifted to another course.”
I may not be as smart as you, I may not be responsible, but at least I have dedication. I dedicate 100% of my time and my life to this school, to this course and to these teachers who are giving us a chance to learn and have fun at the same time, but you choose to throw it away.
